Galapagos Giant Tortoise and Children in Quito
My Travel Story
Before turning 50, I wanted to carry out a project that had been close to my heart for a long time : Going abroad for a humanitarian mission.
I chose the Ecuador to fulfill my dream because for 2 years, I've been taking Spanish lessons with a teacher born there who made me want to discover his country.
For this, I've chosen 2 very distinct projects which will allow me to help in 2 different ways :
- The first one is to give English lessons to young children in Quito (1 week)
- The second one is to help to help th Galapagos Giant Tortoise protection center located in Isablla Island to preserve them (2 weeks).
I chose the IVHQ organization specializing in volunteering around the world for these 2 missions. I will leave in November.
The project is really exciting and I am very happy to be able to leave my country to help those who need it most.
If you want to help me to finance my trip and indirectly help me to help ohers, do not hesitate to leave me a small contribution.I will give access to my photos to those who participate.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and see you soon !
