Did you know? I learned to read and write Hangul/Korean by myself just because I've been exposed of the Korean culture for more than 12 years now. I didn't even force myself to study the language. I just learned all the basics naturally by watching K-dramas, variety shows, and Kpop idols.
Did you also know? I am a proud Kpop fangirl that I self-published the first contemporary poetry book for being one.

I've been thinking about taking this internship program ever since I graduated college last 2019. If I'll have the opportunity to live, or work outside of my home country, no second thoughts, my answer would definitely be "South Korea". For years, I knew it was in the back of my mind, until recently.... Finally, there's no going back, I literally said to myself that I want to try to live and work there, I need to try, even if it's just for several months. No matter what happens, even if I am the conservative type, I just knew I need that experience.

Besides 'taking a leap out of my comfort zone', I know this experience will be a great jump start to my career. Even if I've been working in my family's business since graduation, I feel like I am still low on experience, my social horizon is not broad, and I still need to figure out what I really wanted to do. But I do know this internship might change my life.
