My Travel Story

Hi, my name's Skye. I'm 22, a headstart teacher, and a single mom. My 14 month old son was just diagnosed with hearing loss in his left ear as well as an unknown problem with his metabolism which means he's smaller than he should be. At this time, we don't know the cause of his health issues or how to treat them. He goes to see two audiology specialists in St. Louis on February 24th. We don't have an appointment date yet to figure out his metabolic diagnosis, but we do know we'll be going back to St. Louis for that as well. We live approximately 5 hours away, meaning gas money and food will be a financial burden. Due to the suddenness of his appointments, I have not been able to save any money and have very little to spare. Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
