Dear Friend,

How are the finances in your household?

That was a rhetorical inquiry, so you don’t have to answer—besides, this is a letter, so I wouldn’t hear you anyway. But I still want you to think about that question.

Money is a uniquely human issue, one we all struggle with to one degree or another. And lately, my struggle has become almost more than I can handle.

I have been unemployed for over a year now because of discrimination. My employer found out that I have ADHD and Bipolar and fired me because he said I made him feel uncomfortable (EEOC case still ongoing).

In the last year and a half I have lost my home, car, father, and recently my wife and children have had to live elsewhere until times get better. I am struggling to get back on my feet and rejoin my family. I am currently homeless and stay with friends and family as often as I can. This funding will help me get a car or truck so I can rejoin my family and my wife the love of my life.
