We are a family embarking on a collective journey to Medellín, Colombia, driven by a unique professional opportunity. Currently residing in Venezuela, where utilities such as electricity and water are very precarious, the health system is very deteriorated and education has suffered a setback in the last 10 years, we lack the chance to work for an American company that exclusively hires individuals residing in Colombia an Agentina. Our goal is to relocate to Medellín, providing a brighter future for our children and ensuring a better life for them.

Dad is already working as an interpreter for a reputable company, helping people who speak Spanish and live in the United States to be able to communicate in their medical appointments, legal matters, among others. While his current income is decent, an extraordinary opportunity has arisen in Colombia. The prospect of significantly higher earnings in this new position would not only enhance our family's financial stability but also allow us to provide an even better life for our children.

Faced with this opportunity, we find ourselves at a crossroads. We have two options: either Dad travels first and later reunites with his children and wife, or we seize this moment as a family, making the journey together. To embark on this journey united as a family, we seek your support.

The prospect of a divided family, with mom flying alone with the children, saddens us.
