Need Medical Marijuana
My Travel Story
My name is Jacob Chacko, I’m 39 years old, and I’ve survived more than most people could imagine.
I grew up in a strict, middle-class family in Malaysia where love often looked like control. When my parents found out I used marijuana — something that helped calm my anxiety and trauma — they had me locked away in Christian rehabilitation centres using illegal means. Inside, I was beaten and punished, simply for wanting to live without pain.
I’ve been to prison four times, mostly for marijuana-related charges. Malaysian prisons are harsh beyond words — no beds, barely any food, and constant fear. Those years broke me, but they also taught me what survival means.
I once worked for Microsoft and PayPal as an IT professional. But after my record, no company would even call me for an interview. I’m now battling PTSD, schizophrenia, and depression, and I’ve learned that medicinal marijuana truly helps me live a stable, peaceful life. Unfortunately, it’s still illegal here.
That’s why I want to move to America — to start over, receive proper treatment, and rebuild my life through music, writing, and honest work. I’ve written a book called Stomped On and dream of producing a rap and rock album to share my story of pain and redemption.
All I need is a little help to begin again — to cover the costs of moving, treatment, and building a small, sustainable life.
❤️ A Note from Me
I’ve been to rock bottom, and I’m still standing. I don’t want pity — I just want a fair chance to live, heal, and create.
