My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Jewel.

For as long as I can remember, traveling has been my dream, but life's responsibilities and financial constraints always held me back. I worked hard, saving little by little, hoping that one day I'd finally set out on the adventure I'd been longing for. Unfortunately, COVID hit, and like so many, I lost everything I'd worked for. My dreams of traveling felt even further away, and I moved back in with my parents, feeling defeated.

After some time, I found the strength to rebuild. I started taking odd jobs online, saved up, and finally embarked on a six-month backpacking trip through Southeast Asia. That experience was life-changing, and my love for travel deepened. (fun fact: my profile picture was taken in Thailand while I was Backpacking!)

Coming back home, I knew one thing for sure- traveling is my passion, and I want to keep exploring the world. My next dream destination? South America, particularly Peru. I've heard incredible things about Ayahuasca retreats and i feel drawn to this experience. However, with freelance work becoming harder to find, I'm turning to this platform to help make this dream a reality by summer 2025. 

After everything I've been through, I've learned to let the universe guide me, and I'm leaving this dream in your hands, Whether it happens or not, I'm grateful for your time and support. Thank you for reading!
