I’m excited to announce that I have been accepted into a volunteer program in Tanzania through International Volunteer HQ, where I’ll focus on childcare and teaching!

This opportunity means so much to me, as it allows me to provide direct support to under-resourced communities while gaining invaluable life experiences.

Why Tanzania?
Tanzania is a country of immense beauty and vibrant culture, but many communities face challenges, particularly in education and childcare. Many children lack access to quality education and care, which are critical for their development. By volunteering in schools and childcare centrs, I will work directly with local teachers to create an environment that supports children's growth, learning, and well-being. 

What I’ll Be Doing:
Through IVHQ’s trusted volunteer programs, I’ll be:
• Assisting in teaching basic subjects like English, math, and reading.
• Providing care and support to young children in daycare centres.
• Helping with classroom activities, games, and creative projects to stimulate learning.

How You Can Help:
My goal is to raise $3,500 to cover the costs of this meaningful experience, which includes:

Program fees to IVHQ (covering accommodation, meals, and in-country support)
Flights and travel insurance
Vaccinations and visa costs
