My Travel Story

As most of you know, I am in vet school and obsessed with wildlife and Africa. The most unforgettable trip I had was in 2012 where I spent a month in South Africa through a Uconn course during undergrad.  That course was filled with wildlife tracking, safaris, reptile handling, first aid and CPR certification, rifle handling and more.  
This new course, is geared specifically for veterinary students, with hands on experience including darting, wildlife immobilization & relocation, assistance with medical treatment, phlebotomy and more!  This trip will be the experience of a lifetime!  With COVID-19, my classmates and I have lost out on a lot of hands-on experience as we have been 100% online since March 2020.  This course costs a pretty penny, but a lot of the program fees go directly towards wildlife conservation and I would be so fortunate to gain unique hands-on experience!  Feel free to check out their website for specifics on the course!  Any donation is appreciated, no matter how big or small!  Thank you!!
