It will further impact my career as a community mobilizer on how to interact with members from different areas of our world.
It will impact the community by boosting the self esteem of girls from informal settlements and also stop teenage pregnancies.
I'm passionate about this project because I have seen first hand how lack of basic sanitary products affect day to day lives of teen girl's in informal settlements to the extend of missing school or getting pregnant early which needs to stop.
Being a tourist destination the area has an alarming number of teen pregnancies due to the aforementioned reasons.
It is meaningful to me as I will directly impact the lives of these girl's and change their future.
