This project is deeply meaningful to me because it brings together my love for the Netherlands and my passion for walking alongside women seeking healing, dignity, and restoration. I chose the Netherlands because it is home to wonderful, resilient people, yet it is also widely known for its red-light district. That contrast stirred my heart and made me want to truly connect with the people there — especially women who are often unseen and unheard.
 
This trip means so much to me because it’s more than visiting a place I admire; it’s about showing up with compassion, building real human connection, and offering hope where it’s needed most. As my first time in the Netherlands, this journey represents purpose, courage, and a deep desire to be part of healing stories that can lead to lasting restoration.
