Hello all, my name is Judy and I’m a graduate student at The American College of Greece (MA in Digital Communication). My passion for this field has led me to qualify for an upcoming school trip to San Fransisco, CA from 13th to 22nd April. I’m excited to share that this trip will provide an opportunity to combine professional training with a great educational and travel experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, as we'll be able to participate in:

• Extended tour of Silicon Valley and face-to-face meetings with leading industry experts from the tech culture.
• Visits to the premises of major tech and social media companies located in Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area, such as Google, Facebook and Apple.
• Visits to research institutions such as the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, the Center for New Media and the Institute for Business Innovation at Berkeley University, the Brown Institute for Media Innovation and the Behavioral Lab at Stanford University.
• Visits to innovative San Francisco-based digital agencies and presentations by their executives – also includes hands-on tasks for us to complete.
• Attendance of graduate level university classes at prominent educational institutions, such as Stanford University, University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University or University of California, Berkeley.
• Additional recommended events that will be taking place in the city during our stay, such as public conferences, free lectures, bloggers' meet-ups and other cultural events related to some aspect of my studies.
• Free time to discover and get immersed in the vibrant city of San Francisco.

This trip will help me inspire other people who have an interest in this field, and to let them know that anything is possible if they put in the work and determination. I would also like to explore San Fransisco and learn about the culture, food and most importantly visit important historical sites/monuments.

The trip will cover a lot including accommodation, seminar fees, transport fees within San Fransisco, international flight and other expenses. Any donation would be very much appreciated! I want to thank you for taking the time to read this! You will be updated on my journey throughout!
