My Travel Story
Thank you so much for visiting my page. I am a first generation college student pursuing a career in elementary education. My goal is to make a change in the classroom and offer support and guidance to students and parents in need. As the oldest child in a home raised by a single mother, I have learned to work hard for everything I have and to always be grateful for the little things. Studying abroad was something I could only dream of because I never felt like someone with my background could do such a thing. However, I have decided to follow my crazy day dreams and make it happen. Studying in Costa Rica will offer my insight in a different culture and way of living. I also look forward to working with children in a different country in order to gain more insight on their struggles. I will be able to sympathize with them , because that was me once upon a time. I humbily and greatly appreciate any help I can get in this journey.
