    Hi! My name is Lara, I’m a medicalstudent from Germany (based in Oldenburg), and this november I’ll be traveling to Sri Lanka to join a volunteer program dedicated to helping street dogs.

    Thousands of dogs in Sri Lanka live on the streets — injured, malnourished, or completely neglected. The project I’m joining provides vital medical care, food, love, and safety to these animals, with the long-term goal of improving their well-being and giving them a chance at a better life.
