My Travel Story

My name is Gabby. I am 19 years old and living in the UK. I've grown up in a christian family all my life but never fully understood God and what it meant to live for Him until I was 17 and found myself in an orphanage in the depth of uganda serving as a volunteer. I have been on mission twice, once in October 2017 and the other in March 2019. The trips were funded through living stones christain fellowship, a church my dad heads up but this time I want to take responsibility and fund the trip on my own doing and passion. 
In the last year I have really struggled to settle in a new job and find my own feet but God has sustained me and now i feel more than ready to find my way back to the beloved country where i first discovered God himself. 
I work alongside pastor frank who started a church called Kasenge in a very poor part of Uganda on the outskirts of Uganda. On previous trips I have taught sunday school and worked very closely with some of the orphans who come to the church because its a place they can feel like home. Since my last trip I have started a feeding programme that I fund so every child that comes to sunday school is fed and watered as well as taught from the Bible. 
The children of Uganda are very close to my heart and it is my dream, and i believe God's calling on my life, to care for them. Your support and prayers are much appreciated.
