Hello! My name is Alexa, and I am asking for help to fund my Spanish Studies. My family is from Honduras, and they all speak Spanish. All my life, I have tried to learn Spanish through family lessons, high school classes, online classes, and I even did Duolingo every day for years, but nothing really worked for me. It always felt like no matter how hard I tried, I would never be able to do it. When I went off to college, I knew this was my opportunity to hopefully learn Spanish in a new way, and after my first semester of classes, I can say that they are really helping! So when I was presented with the opportunity to take intensive Spanish courses in Spain, I knew I had to take the chance. The program will involve going to museums, which makes it even better because my desired career path includes museum work. I have been applying for scholarships and financial aid as well as creating a post here. Thank you for any help you can provide, and I'll keep you updated on my Spanish fluency!!!
