I am a Linguistics Major at San Diego State University. I have a passion for knowledge, particularly in the areas of language and culture. I can speak a a little Japanese, and an even smaller amount of Spanish. I am hoping to pick up some German as well while I am abroad. My long term goal after college is to research ways to improve language comprehension. Culturally I am an Ashkenazi Jew born in Southern California. Growing up, my family would celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah. We even had a "Jewish Santa Claus" tree-topper that was adorned with a Star of David.
