HELLO EVERYONE!!!! Firstly thank you so much for visiting my page. Here's a little bit about me, I am a freshman at the University of MIssouri-Kansas City. I am a Communications Major (emphasis in Journalism and Mass Media) with a minor in Spanish and possibly Business (have to wait until semester end). Being a Spanish minor the language is very important to me and I've already been growing to really enjoy it and I am determiend to succeed in it. Something importnt to successful learn and understand a new language is to be immersed in it and that is something I want too do by traveling abroad. This year I have been offered the opportunity to go to Argentina in the Summer of 2016 for 6 weeks and gain 9 credit hours, which is half of what I need to complete my minor, and their are also other opportunites I would like to participate in the years following. ie Spain, London, France, Costa Rica and so much more. I never thought I would be going to College let alone having so many opportunities opening up for me and I am really excited. I have scholarships to cover my academic years (August 2015 through May 2016) however not for any summer educational studies. Summer studies basically run that of a normal semester but are packed into a few weeks, which is about $8,000 including my plane ticket. The package includes housing and food as well. I am asking for the help of my friends and family. Any little bit would help and be greatly appreciated and defintely put to good use.
