Nicole Dean and Rabia Butt

About Me

Nicole Dean (20) As a Physiotherapy Student I have a wide understanding of how important basic health care is to a person. After travelling to Tanzania and completing a 2 week placement, I gained an increased understanding of how developing countries manage without the same funding and medical supplies compared to the UK. This has inspired me to spread my new found knowledge to other developing countries. Rabia Butt (20) As a student completing the 3rd and final year in Primary Education it is a big achievement to be able to use the skills I have developed in my own practice on children who have not been educated under the same framework. Over the past 5 years I have been fortunate enough to experience working with a range of years within the primary age groups and have become passionate in seeing the progress children have made. It is now a personal wish to be able to support and make a substantial difference in a child by leaving my comfort zone behind and throwing myself into a new way of life.
