About Me

I’ve always loved animals and nature. As a child, I loved spending time with my mother out in the forest, at the beach and see the beauty of mother nature and all its animals. It was my beautiful mother who taught me about nature, animals, and animal cruelty. I have never been to a circus since my mom forbade me to go – and for that, I’m very thankful. While being out in the wild, I felt calm, peaceful and happy. I loved hearing the sound of the birds singing in the morning and feel the tranquility of walking through a silent forest. My passion for animals and nature has just grown over the years. I developed this kind of thirst, a thirst to be out in the wild and explore every mountain and forest on this planet. Nature really fascinates me, and it gets me super inspired. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I became a travel blogger, so I could follow my dream and experience nature and see all the amazing animals in their natural habitats with my own eyes. It wasn’t until I started to travel full-time that I realized how many animal species are abused and exploited in so many ways. During my travels, I have seen some horrible things, where animals were the center of the tourist’s attention and wallets. Baby bears in chains, monkeys in clothes, abused stray dogs and worn out elephants dragging around on lazy tourists day in and day out. Seeing all this animal abuse made me frustrated, angry and sad. I love animals so much that I start to cry when seeing this happen, or seeing what is going on in other parts of this world. It makes me so sad that people can be so cruel doing these kinds of things to our beautiful and loving animals, and tourists not knowing better supporting this cruelty. The tourism industry today, does not have the animals best interest at heart, and that is making me so scared.
