About Me

I am an occupational therapist in Taiwan. My intention for choosing occupational therapy as my professional aspiration is based on a simple motive of helping people. I could apply what I have learned in occupational therapy to help my grandparents recover from the stroke and share medical knowledge with people around me. Occupational therapy does bring me a sense of accomplishment and joy. During my study at Kaohsiung Medical University, I was curious about why some occupational therapy treatments could bring great progress and change in patients. Therefore, after graduating with a degree in occupational therapy, I continued my education in neuroscience. Now, I am working as a pediatric occupational therapist who still learning promising methods in order to give children a better intervention and teaching caregivers and teachers in kindergarten the knowledge about children development in order to let them have a better understanding of the children instead of blaming them.
