Hi, I'm Alanna, a second year veterinary medicine student at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. With COVID-19, I have missed out on a lot of hands-on experience I would have gotten in school. This trip would help strengthen my skills as a veterinary student, and give me access to experience that not many are fortunate enough to experience! I have been in awe of Africa and it's wildlife since I was a kid. Having the opportunity to return and actually be able to work on my favorite animal species will be life changing.
