My name is Alexa Fernandez, I am a sophomore in college and I am currently pursuing a Biology degree. I was born in Queretaro, Mexico then I immigrated to the United States at the age of 2. Since a young age, I've had a driving passion for the ocean. I grew up with a fanatic ocean sport-loving uncle who taught me how to sail, windsurf, surf, and foil. I love to travel around the world exploring its beauty and immersing myself in different cultures. My goal is to major in Biology and then earn a master's degree in Marine Sciences so I can study and protect the oceans and oceanic species.
