Hello! My name is Alexis Davis, and I am a Pre-Medical student at Baylor University! I am studying health science studies and minoring in sociology, and my goal is to become a physician. I have a strong passion for Women's health, explicitly examining Women's health in low socioeconomic areas. In my free time, I like to do research! I am an undergraduate research assistant at Baylor University and am researching the effects of spirituality in healthcare to carry out more holistic treatment. This past summer, I conducted research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. There I was able to work in Genomic Medicine. This opportunity allowed me to extract DNA from saliva and even fingernails!
