I am a PhD Candidate and Binghamton University in the Social, Political, Ethical and Legal Philosophy Program and a human services professional working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am active in my community as a volunteer and an activist, and I enjoy gardening, delicious food, and travel. I view the opportunities I have had as a scholar as a source of responsibility to use that knowledge to help others, give back to my community, and challenge oppression and repression wherever I can.
