My name's Alyssa! I'm a 25 year old non-traditional student, studying at University of Colorado Boulder. I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication August of 2018. I was accepted into the honors program last year and I'm currently writing an honors thesis, which I will be defending in April. I was placed on the Dean's List last semester which I was so excited about! I love to travel and have been to several places in the US as well as Brazil and Thailand. When I grow up, I want to be a professor of Organizational Communication, focusing on researching non-profits and helping them grow. I currently work full time as an Operations Administrator for a self-storage company out of Boulder, CO. Our office allows dogs, and it's honestly just the coolest place to work ever. I like to have fun, but I take my work and my schooling seriously, too. Fun facts about me: I love aliens and space and the color purple. I have three tattoos, one of which is a "matching" sister tattoo (she has a moon, I have the sun!). All three are space-themed: I have a moon on my shoulder, the constellation Orion on my hip, and the sun on the side of my wrist/forearm.
