About Me

My passion has always been baking. I've been creating sweet confections from the ripe bold age of 12 and I haven't looked back since. I completed my undergraduate at The University of Houston where I studied Hotel & Restaurant Management. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Conrad N. Hilton College and I hope to take my education to new heights at Apicius Culinary School. After I graduated I continued to work in the hospitality field furthering my professional education, working my way into a professional catering kitchen at Baylor University. Now that I gained field experience I wish to advance that in the Master of Baking and Pastry Program of fall 2017. With this experience abroad I am excited to take what I learn and put it into my future business, Adele's & Verda's bakery/cafe.
