I am a 24 year old female from Australia, living in New York. I am interested in wildlife and animal conservation in Africa, specifically big cats and cheetahs. I would be interested in working with a range of animals though including elephants, rhinos etc - any native animals. My volunteer goals are to help with the sustainability and care for injured, orphaned or endangered species. While I am in Africa I would also love to explore the nature and wildlife in the surrounding areas including any lakes, waterfalls, national parks, safaris. With poaching and deforestation, many native species in African countries are becoming endangered. I care deeply about wildlife and their wellbeing and I believe that animal conservation should be a priority in country's experiencing deforestation and loss of habitat.
