About Me

Hi! My name is Anne, and I come from the beautiful, rural hills of Kisii, Kenya, where I live with my wonderful mother. Here, we do more than just survive , we create. I work with Kisii soapstone, a natural treasure of our land, and carve it into meaningful pieces of art rooted in culture and passion. I may not have a formal job, but I own a small business of selling art. I am an artist, a craftswoman, and a dreamer. Why I’m Fundraising I am raising funds to travel abroad and explore different forms of art, meet other artists, and learn new techniques and styles that I can bring back home to grow both myself and my community. My dream is to study, exchange, and experience artistic expressions from other cultures , from painting and sculpture to street art and digital design. I want to tell stories through art, not just from Kenya, but through a global lens. Your support will help me grow from a rural soapstone carver into a global creative voice.
