I am a Junior at Missouri Southern State University studying history to become an archivist! The upcoming study abroad trip to Türkiye will be my second time studying abroad, but this is the first time I've had a class like this. The class taking the trip to Türkiye is the first of it's kind as it involves a collaboration between our university and a university in Türkiye. We've gained the chance to work with students at the university in order to build a connection before we ever touch down in the country and the classes professors have worked together to build a curricula that teaches US/English literature and culture to their students and Turkish literature and culture to ours. The trip is just a month away and both classes are beyond excited!
