About Me

Hi I’m Beatrice Heirigs, I’ve been working in professional kitchens since I was 13 while going to school full time. I earned a full-ride scholarship through a cooking competition, competed on Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef at 18 (which was also the first time I ever left the country), and have since been working 60-hour weeks in Michelin-star kitchens in New York City while finishing my bachelor’s degree. Now that school is done, I’m finally taking the leap I’ve been dreaming about for years — traveling the world to learn, explore, and experience food and culture beyond the kitchen. This trip is about growth, perspective, and letting the world shape the kind of chef and person I want to become.
