Mommy of two children, a son, who gained his angel wings on February 22, 2017 at the age of 9, and a daughter who will be 8 in July. My husband and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary. I work for a nonprofit, because it puts me in positions to help better my community. I also sit on two boards for local non-profit agencies. Ironically, the chair of donations for one, and the treasurer for the other. I work really hard to do my best to give back to the community that surrounded my family in so much love after my son's passing. I want to immerse myself in the culture of changing our community for the better, giving people who work hard a hand up out of their despair and My hope in this process is that I am teaching my daughter that helping others is important, kindness goes a long way, and that love and hope can be found even in the darkest corners of the earth if you are the one giving it! My only campaign, to meet the boy who received my son's heart, is scheduled to end on what would have been my son's 13th birthday.
