Hi I'm Brett Barron Whaitiri Reihana . I was a Adopted at birth and found my biological parents at the age of 35. My birth father and I were meant to travel to Chatham Islands to see our Ancestral land. Unfortunately, I had a massive brain injury 6 years ago and has left me on a limited income and unable to travel due to Cabin Pressure, however I have been clear to travel now. Unfortunately my Dad got cancer and passed away two and a half years ago. I'm seeking funding so my uncle my dad's twin brother and I can travel to the Chatham Islands to my grandmothers ancestral land to spread some of my dads ashes on our land. This will be a spiritual journey for myself and my uncle. My uncle like my dad has never seen where his mother grew up, and I never meet my grandmother. The Flights for both of us return is $3000 and Accommodation and Expenses around the same plus flights from Auckland to Christchurch return for myself. The reason for being so expensive is that everything is brought in by containership. 2lt milk $3.50 NZ / Chatham's $12.5 NZ. The Chatham Islands is located 500 KS of the East Coast of New Zealand.
