I am an adventurous person with a large and giving heart for those around me! Since high school, I've dreamed of travelling outside of the United States and now that I'm in college it is my time now more than ever. I enjoy hiking, biking, and taking advantage of everything my beautiful state has to offer. I am passionate about being an advocate for those who may not have the voice or platform to express their needs, and my major in Public and Nonprofit Administration is to further show that. I am also a Spanish and human rights minor, so you could say I like to keep myself busy! Outside of work and school I actively volunteer through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, fostering the importance of relationships and healthy lifestyles with my 'little' as well as interning through the local Refugee Center, and being a full-time student. These places I volunteer with also reflect some of my values and the importance of cultural competency and new ideas through networking and the connections you make in life.
