My academic goal is to graduate from GateWay Community College in the next couple of months and earn a degree in Associate of Business and a minor in Computer Information Systems, which is a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics field. Attending an official minority Hispanic serving institution sparked an interest in international topics, such as development, trade, economics, and business. My ideal career choice is an International Technology Consultant, which is a form of diplomacy that I would like to be skillful in. As a consultant, I will be obligated to solve issues that arise, such as business decisions and lack of communication due to the cultural difference. Being culturally aware is a key component of my career goal and studying abroad will help me achieve my academic and professional goals by allowing a head start of growth.
