My name is Dani. I am in my early thirties, I don't believe in settling, I always speak my truth and I always fight for others who may not have the same strength. I love hiking, camping, kayaking, hiking, hiking, hiking....oh, wait, I already said hiking? I am an amateur photographer. I don't seek out work, but I love taking photos and when someone else loves them too, it makes my heart so happy! Especially when it ends up on a wall somewhere :-) I am a rambler. I ramble and I roam, and love being on the road more than anything. I've been settled in the Eastern Sierra for a year now. In Mammoth Lakes, CA. The most beautiful mountains I've ever seen. I am also an activist at heart for men and women, children and teens, who have been abused. Human trafficking, and sex trafficking are realities in this world that most people prefer not to acknowledge. It drives me to raise awareness and help those who don't know how to help themselves. I am a survivor myself. A champion. A badass woman who chose not to die under the weight of my trauma. I struggle with it every day. Most of all, what you should know is that I am a loving, caring, compassionate, kind, strong, bold, courageous, scared, mindful woman who is trying to live her life as true as I can. For me. For my heart. What brings the most joy to my life. What makes me smile the most. What warms my heart up to the max. That is what I am constantly finding, embracing and it is why I am always smiling :-)
