My name is Danielo Baas, and I am reaching out from the Netherlands to introduce you to the Social Change Foundation, a newly to be established foundation located in the Netherlands and dedicated to supporting children affected by conflicts in Gaza through innovative medical interventions. Vision and Mission At the Social Change Foundation, our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable 3D-printed medical prosthetics to children in Gaza. We aim not only to restore their physical mobility but also to rebuild their self-confidence and future prospects. Our vision is a world where every child, regardless of circumstances, has access to essential medical resources to lead a full and productive life. By leveraging technologies like 3D printing, we seek to bridge the gap between crisis and solution, contributing to a better and more inclusive future for all children. Goals In our inaugural year, we aim to provide customized 3D-printed prosthetics to at least 100 children in Gaza. Additionally, we plan to establish a local production facility to ensure swift and efficient response to community needs. Our holistic approach includes collaborating with local hospitals and rehabilitation centers to offer comprehensive medical care and rehabilitation programs. Furthermore, we are committed to providing training in 3D-printing technology to local technicians and medical professionals, along with educational programs to inform children and their families about the use and maintenance of their prosthetics. Current Situation and Future Plans As a newly established organization, we are currently in our start-up phase, focusing on establishing partnerships and securing resources to commence our operations. In the near future, we plan to expand our facilities in Gaza to include a local production center for prosthetics. Additionally, we envision extending our services to provide affordable medical eyeglasses and mental health support tailored to trauma victims.
