I'm David Asante, a skilled and dedicated marine mechanic with a strong passion for the maritime industry. Born and raised in Ghana, I've always been fascinated by the inner workings of machines and the thrill of troubleshooting complex problems. After completing my secondary education, I pursued a certificate in Marine Mechanics from the Regional Maritime University in Accra, Ghana. This comprehensive program equipped me with a solid foundation in marine engineering, including diesel engines, propulsion systems, and electrical systems. Throughout my training, I gained hands-on experience working on various marine vessels, including fishing boats, and a cargo ship. I also had the opportunity to work with experienced marine mechanics, who mentored me and helped me develop my skills. Upon completing my studies, I was eager to put my skills into practice. Unfortunately, the job market in Ghana proved to be challenging, and I found myself struggling to secure a job in my field. For the past three years, I've been actively searching for job opportunities, both locally and internationally. Despite my best efforts, I've faced numerous setbacks, including limited job openings, intense competition, and financial constraints. Currently, I'm facing a critical juncture in my career. With limited financial resources and a lack of job opportunities in Ghana, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to support myself and my family. Despite these challenges, I remain committed to my passion for marine mechanics and my desire to build a successful career in the maritime industry. I'm eager to explore opportunities abroad, where I can leverage my skills and experience to secure a fulfilling and well-paying job. I'm confident that, with the right support and resources, I can overcome the current obstacles and achieve my career goals.
