Black-American from Charleston, SC seeking to fulfill a goal, which is to emerge into South African culture. I feel connected, even though I've only watched videos and movies of some of the cities. The images of today, are so different what I saw in the 80's and 90's about Africa. I remember feeling sorry for the Black men and women living in any part of Africa. I can remember watching tv on the weekends and white missionaries would be asking for money to save starving children in Africa. The show would include shacks, and streets filled with garbage. The children be so sickly and thin due to the lack of food. I'm happy most days, but if chosen and I'm able to visit a safe and beautiful location in South Africa, it would change my life.
