Thank you for the opportunity to share more about myself. I am a mother of 3 children , one of whom was recently diagnosed with autism. I grew up in Jamaica and would love to give back to my country through education. I realize all the opportunities my child with autism has here and that spark my interest into helping those individuals in Jamaica who are living with this disability. The odds are already against them having to deal with all the challenges they may encounter in life. It is my first time doing something like this and I hope I can get all the help I can possibly get for those children. I have background knowledge in Special Education and I am also aware of the schools that are in need of the help. So I am putting myself out there to start this campaign and help them , somebody has to do it.
