They provided me with a safe haven, a warm bed, and a compassionate community. However, the resources available for individuals in my situation often require certain references that were unattainable from the administrators where I sought shelter. In the midst of this adversity, a beacon of hope emerged. A family member discovered my situation and, without hesitation, extended an invitation to relocate to Grand Rapids, Michigan. They assured me that not only would I have a safe place to stay, but also a job waiting for me upon arrival. This brings me to the purpose of my letter. I am humbly asking for your assistance to fund my journey to Grand Rapids. Your generous donation will be used for the purchase of a bus ticket and for shipping my belongings.
