About Me
I am the baby of six, born in Washington D.C and raised in sarasota Florida. Growing up we were heavily involved in athletic communities and have always been pushed by our parents to give back and volunteer. My dad passed away in 2014 my freshman year of highschool leaving us all a little lost without guidance in an important part of our lives, but it just meant we needed to push ourselves a bit harder in order to get to where we want since a big part of our confidence is gone. In 2020 i had a really bad motorcycle accident that almost cost my my right food and ankle. I was blessed with an amazing doctor and three years later im back on my feet. In that time I was really down and out. All my family had ever focused on was athletics, we legitimately were never taught how or to even think about anything outside of that which ended up hindering us all once we graduated and began trying to figure out who we actually were and what we wanted to do. None of us chose sports so we all felt like newborns again. In my months of casts, boots, granny walkers and wheelchairs I needed an outlet that wasn't physical, but I never had one of those. I decided to teach myself how to play piano from scratch and I never looked back. I can sight read sheet music or just play by ear but this process and instrument has changed my life for the better. When I look back I'm now not sure if id take back the motorcycle crash knowing I may have never learned piano. The crash also rewired my brain and got me back into pushing myself harder than ever with college and my future endeavors. In hindsight I'v learned not everything is a blessing when it happens, but everything can be turned into a blessing based off what it taught you and how it changed you
