I graduated high school in 2020 with my high school diploma and my Associate in Science degree. I am a Pre-Vet major at North Carolina State Univerity. This is my 2nd year at NCSU, and currently, I am a senior. I have always had a deep love of animals and have known that I wanted to pursue a career as a veterinarian from an early age. I am from a small town in rural North Carolina, which has given me many opportunities to work hands-on with livestock. This summer, I am traveling to Thailand to gain more experience with zoo animal medicine and companion animal medicine. In addition, I have a little sister that my family adopted from China, and I was able to travel there as a very young child. This experience gave me a deep love of Asian culture, and I look forward to learning more about Thai culture.
