My name is Zack, and I’m a 17-year-old single father and senior at DuPont Manual High School, majoring in Visual Arts. My passion lies in black and white 35mm film photography—there’s something about the simplicity and honesty in monochrome that slows life down and allows me to truly see the world. Being a father has given me new purpose, and I'm excited for the future my son and I are building together. I feel incredibly blessed to have received such a prestigious award, and I pray it's in God's plan for me to stand on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York—an opportunity that would mean a powerful change from life here in Kentucky
