About Me

As a Junior Executive Officer at Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), I apply my technical skills and leadership qualities to manage the underwriting and claims process of the company's fleet of bulk carriers and tankers. I have successfully assisted the manager in tendering the Hull & Machinery (H&M) insurance policy renewal from the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), and placed the risk internationally on a facultative reinsurance basis. I also handle the total loss claims of the PNSC vessels, as well as the arrangement of the Certificate of Financial Responsibility (COFR), International Carrier Bond (ICB), and International Surety Bond (ISB) certifications. Additionally, I support the Protection and Indemnity (P&I) coverage for the Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) and charter vessels. I have a bachelor's degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iqra University, and I am currently pursuing a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) designation from The Institutes Knowledge Group, expected to complete in 2025. I am passionate about learning new technologies and innovations in the insurance industry, such as AI, InsurTech, and Real Estate Technology, and I have obtained a certification from Coursera on these topics. I am also proficient in problem solving, analytical skills, and business administration. My goal is to contribute to the growth and success of the company and the industry, while advancing my professional development and career.
