About Me

Hi, my name is Francisco, and I’m the proud father of an incredible 8-year-old boy who dreams bigger than most. He’s bright, curious, and absolutely fascinated by the ocean, especially squids and other cephalopods. He lights up when he talks about marine life, and his imagination is as deep as the sea itself. He expresses his love for marine life through his creativity, he’s always drawing squids, sea creatures, and even detailed diagrams of their anatomy, often filling entire notebooks with his imaginative underwater worlds. As a parent, there’s nothing more fulfilling than watching your child discover a passion. For my son, that passion is the ocean, and the mysterious creatures that live in it. He wants to be a marine biologist when he grows up, and I wholeheartedly believe he can be, he already teaches me things I never knew! Like many families, we’ve faced our share of challenges, and while I work hard to provide everything I can, this trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium is just out of reach for us on our own. But I believe in the power of community, and I believe in giving children every opportunity to chase their dreams, especially when those dreams are as pure and inspiring as his. This isn’t just a trip. It’s a chance for my son to see a real squid, to connect with the world he wants to explore, and to feel like his dreams are valid and possible. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for any support (financial or emotional) you can offer. With deep gratitude, Francisco
