My name is Gabriela and I am currently finishing a master's degree on contemporary literature and culture at the University of Edinburgh. I am passionate about social responsibility, ecology and animal welfare, and I am devoting my work in academia in order to research ways of rising awareness regarding critical and ethical issues regarding our relationships with non-human animals. At the moment I am fundraising in order to go on a volunteering trip to a marine turtle conservation centre in Costa Rica.
