I'm Gabrielle, I'm a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 3 beautiful girls. I've been working , now with my own company, for many years with children and their parents. A lot of them with autism. Autism is called a developmental disorder, coming from a neurological mutation/damage, so they say. I see children with autism, some non-verbal, struggling in this world to be understood. A lot of patience, sweat, tears, time and attention is needed to crawl into the head of a child with autism. This because these children have their own way of communicating, and to understand this takes all of that. I'd love to show parents how they can learn about their child, as I know, especially in Jamaica, that there's non to little knowledge uphand for parents. All they hear from school or the environment that their child is behaving in a challenging way. My love for educating parents and showing them how to do that, has now become my greatest passion. I'm also a naturopathic therapist specialized in behavioral disorders, damage on the neurotransmitters. Along with the love I have to spread around to show parents how to understand their children with autism, I also love to teach parents about the life style factors that is damaging their children so much. This can also be a cause for the behavioral challenges . As I have been working for so long in the Netherlands, I'm aiming now on this amazing project in Jamaica . I am here to look for funds to travel to Jamaica as I can use funds needed to travel back and fort , and to meet with and help as many families possible .
