I am a (12Bravo) Combat Engineer in the US Army. When the Government shut down it financially crippled myself and those military personnel around the globe that live from paycheck to paycheck. We have our livelihood and families to take care of. In spite of the shutdown we still must do our jobs and serve and protect our country without pay. I'm not an online man or a social media person so I'm sceptic about how all of this works and if it will work at all. Getting home to see my mother is very important to me.
