About Me
Hello friends, My name is Carl Olunga. After living in the United States for 15 years, I was suddenly deported back to Kenya—with nothing. I left behind the life I had built, my community, and all that I had worked so hard for. Starting over after so many years is not easy. I returned to Kenya with no resources, no home, and no savings. This experience has been heartbreaking, but I am determined to rise above it. I believe in resilience, in faith, and in the kindness of people who are willing to lend a helping hand. ⸻ Why I Am Fundraising Right now, I am asking for support to cover the most urgent needs as I rebuild my life from scratch: • Safe and stable housing • Food and daily essentials • Transportation to access work opportunities • Basic documentation and tools to reintegrate into the community Your donation—no matter how small—will help me take the first steps toward stability and independence. ⸻ How You Can Help I know times are tough for many, but even a little goes a long way. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing my story with others, can give me the chance to rebuild my life and stand on my own again. ⸻ A Note from the Heart Being deported after 15 years in the US has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. But I refuse to let it break me. With your help, I can turn this painful setback into a new beginning filled with hope and possibility. Thank you so much for your kindness, your generosity, and for believing in me. ❤️ With gratitude, Carl Olunga
